A female runner running in the morning into the sunrise.

I recently had the opportunity to contribute to a new publication- Outside Run- for an article about 5 healthy habits to improve your morning run routine.

I interviewed Dr. Chris Winter, a board certified neurologist, sleep specialist, and host of the Sleep Unplugged podcast about the importance of full spectrum light (and a cool, new product I review tomorrow on the blog) and why snoozing your alarm isn’t always a bad thing. Also, I chatted with board certified sports nutritionist, Susan Kitchen, about the importance of hydration, preventing annoying GI issues, and suggestions for your pre-run breakfast.
