In 2022, Triathlete Magazine asked me to create a 5-part race guide that featured some of the best triathlons in the US for 2023. We included 140.6, 70.3, sprint and Olympic, off-the-beaten-path, and beginner events.
After scouring race listings, receiving personal recommendations, and conducting a lot of research, I came up with a great list that includes races with the red carpet and all the Ironman trappings, as well as non-IM branded, locally grown events.
Well this year, I’m doing it again! This is the second installment of the 2024 Race Guide, which focuses on 70.3, or half-Ironman events.
