I met professional race car driver, Jordan Taylor, thanks to the magic of the Instagram algorithm. Shortly after I did Ironman Florida in November, I came across a post of his and learned that he did the race as well!

I discovered that he started doing triathlon during the pandemic and that IM FL was his second full distance race. Since he’s still pretty new to the sport, I asked him if he realized how fast a sub-10 hour Ironman really is! He knows, and he’s grateful that the race went as well as it did.

But he’s used to going fast; his Acura GTP hits top speeds of 200 mph. In fact, he’ll be looking to score another fast finish this weekend at the Rolex 24 in Daytona, a race he’s won three times in the past. Good luck Jordan!
